Ford Endeavour is a car that can probably take on Tyrannosaurus Rex and win in a fight, or just might get away from it in time. Well, we can’t have a real machine on monster action to prove the above claim but we can report that Ford will be bringing the new generation of the Endeavour by the end of 2015.

Expected to be based on the Everest concept, the car will be called ‘The Ford Everest Concept’ in all markets other than India. The SUV is expected to come in four cylinders of 2.2 litre and 3.0 litre engine variants. It will be available in manual as well as automatic versions. It is also expected to feature six-speed transmissions.

The Everest concept was first showcased in Australia. The SUV will be based on Ranger’s current generation ladder-frame chassis. It will sport a coil-sprung rear suspension.

On the exteriors, the car gets a more aggressive stance over its predecessor while getting a sleeker shape. This design keeps the badass spirit intact, as that is the USP of this car.

The car is currently being developed in Australia and will be assembled in India at Ford’s Chennai plant. It is expected to be priced at Rs. 20-25 lakh and may release by the end of next year.
